You have greater control over packaging your items. Although most companies have excellent employees, they do not have any vested interests in your goods. While insurance may cover them, items such as family heirlooms can be irreplaceable and have a value that is not financial.
You can book the services from a U-pack business. They usually send a trailer and moving supplies and allow you to pack and load your stuff. This takes about 3-5 business days. If you have only a few items, some companies will charge you for the whole trailer. Others may charge only a portion. They will drive the trailer to your new home and take the same time to unpack it.
